For Younger ones wanting to learn an instrument. We do a few concerts a year showcasing what they have been learning!

Community Band
Rehearsals are on Monday
14:00 – 15:00
The Community Band was started in 2018 and is a brass band aimed at people over the age of 50 (although anyone younger would be welcome to join in) and with any musical ability. Like Youth Band, people are taught how to play a brass instrument and and read music in a band environment, but the main purpose is to have fun. With the Community Band there is no pressure to contest or give concerts – but like the purpose of the band, they do have fun!! (and most of them do actually take part in concerts from time to time)
